With their dis\u00adcon\u00adtin\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion and the expan\u00adsion of renew\u00adables, which ensure more volatil\u00adi\u00adty in the grid, this indis\u00adpens\u00adable job is becom\u00ading vacant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How\u00adev\u00ader, one can\u00addi\u00addate for the vacan\u00adcy has already proven itself: the \u201cMechan\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly Switched Capac\u00adi\u00adtor with Damp\u00ading Net\u00adwork\u201d or MSCDN tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy. They improve volt\u00adage qual\u00adi\u00adty and damp\u00aden res\u00ado\u00adnances in the grid; and they also work effi\u00adcient\u00adly and require lit\u00adtle main\u00adte\u00adnance,\u201d explains Uwe J\u00e4ger, Direc\u00adtor Busi\u00adness Area Sub\u00adsta\u00adtions at Omex\u00adom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sechtem: Fit for more grid power<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>MR\u2019s Pow\u00ader Qual\u00adi\u00adty divi\u00adsion and Omex\u00adom Umspan\u00adnwerke GmbH have fur\u00adther devel\u00adoped MSCDN for demand\u00ading high and extra-high volt\u00adage trans\u00admis\u00adsion grids, and sub\u00adsta\u00adtions of three of the four Ger\u00adman trans\u00admis\u00adsion sys\u00adtem oper\u00ada\u00adtors are already work\u00ading with it. In April of this year, the part\u00adners con\u00adnect\u00aded a GRIDCON\u00ae MSCDN sys\u00adtem for 380-kilo\u00advolt elec\u00adtric\u00adi\u00adty to the grid at the Sechtem site of the oper\u00ada\u00adtor Ampri\u00adon. In addi\u00adtion to the ren\u00ado\u00adva\u00adtion of the entire sub\u00adsta\u00adtion in Sechtem, new trans\u00adform\u00aders were also installed there to cope with the ener\u00adgy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion and the grow\u00ading demand for elec\u00adtric\u00adi\u00adty. Ampri\u00adon uses a com\u00adpre\u00adhen\u00adsive trans\u00adformer mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading sys\u00adtem to mon\u00adi\u00adtor, renew and expand its trans\u00adformer fleet. Growth is not only cer\u00adtain at this point, announces Dr. Eich\u00adhoff: \u201cThe MSCDN sys\u00adtem in Sechtem was not our first and not our last.
