In Duis\u00adburg, how\u00adev\u00ader, they took a dif\u00adfer\u00adent approach, explains Philipp Birgmeier, Tech\u00adni\u00adcal Con\u00adsul\u00adtant in the Ser\u00advice depart\u00adment: \u201cthyssenk\u00adrupp has very well-trained spe\u00adcial\u00adists and want\u00aded to read out the trans\u00adformer data them\u00adselves. That\u2019s why we held a two-day train\u00ading course on site which will enable the spe\u00adcial\u00adists to inspect their equip\u00adment based on our spec\u00adi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtions, and col\u00adlect the data nec\u00ades\u00adsary for our sub\u00adse\u00adquent eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion.\u201d Mar\u00adquardt adds: \u201cThe pre\u00advi\u00adous assess\u00adment aspects such as oil analy\u00adses or elec\u00adtri\u00adcal mea\u00adsure\u00adments are com\u00adbined and sup\u00adple\u00adment\u00aded by the stan\u00addard\u00adized visu\u00adal inspec\u00adtion. In this way, we ensure that the bud\u00adget is used in the right places and that new acqui\u00adsi\u00adtions are ini\u00adti\u00adat\u00aded in good time despite long deliv\u00adery times.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LEARNING THE THEORY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In the train\u00ading, the thyssenk\u00adrupp spe\u00adcial\u00adists were first taught some the\u00ado\u00adry. \u201cOn the first day, we explained the data col\u00adlec\u00adtion to them and my col\u00adleague Nina Mach\u00adnikows\u00adki from Devel\u00adop\u00adment sup\u00adport\u00aded the par\u00adtic\u00adi\u00adpants in installing and using the TESSA\u00ae FLEETSCAN 2D web appli\u00adca\u00adtion,\u201d says Birgmeier. Birgmeier explains: \u201cThis includ\u00aded learn\u00ading to read the ther\u00admal images which are non-con\u00adtact, non-destruc\u00adtive imag\u00ading in real time, so they can be tak\u00aden dur\u00ading oper\u00ada\u00adtion and pro\u00advide great insight into the con\u00addi\u00adtion of the equip\u00adment if you know what to look out for.\u201d The aim here is to cre\u00adate a stan\u00addard\u00adized eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtion sys\u00adtem.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trained in this way, thyssenk\u00adrupp employ\u00adees were able to record and enter the rel\u00ade\u00advant trans\u00adformer data them\u00adselves over the fol\u00adlow\u00ading few weeks which was then sent to MR togeth\u00ader with doc\u00adu\u00adments from pre\u00advi\u00adous mea\u00adsure\u00adments. \u201cWe then eval\u00adu\u00adate every\u00adthing and write a detailed inspec\u00adtion report for each trans\u00adformer as well as a fleet report that assess\u00ades the con\u00addi\u00adtion of all assets as a whole,\u201d explains Birgmeier, who is very sat\u00adis\u00adfied with the pilot project. \u201cWe can well imag\u00adine estab\u00adlish\u00ading this pro\u00adce\u00addure with oth\u00ader cus\u00adtomers. The train\u00ading has shown us that this type of know-how trans\u00adfer works well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large yellow-stripe is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cOur tech\u00adni\u00adcians and main\u00adte\u00adnance staff were enthu\u00adsi\u00adas\u00adtic about the prac\u00adti\u00adcal train\u00ading.\u201d<\/p>\n<cite>Fabi\u00adan Mar\u00adquardt, Engi\u00adneer High Volt\u00adage Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy and Grid Plan\u00adning, thyssenk\u00adrupp<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Mar\u00adquardt agrees: \u201cOur tech\u00adni\u00adcians and main\u00adte\u00adnance staff were enthu\u00adsi\u00adas\u00adtic about the prac\u00adti\u00adcal train\u00ading. The core objec\u00adtive was to teach them how to use the tool to enable them to car\u00adry out visu\u00adal inspec\u00adtions, and it was very impor\u00adtant to us that the tool was easy to use on the indi\u00advid\u00adual end devices. The test eval\u00adu\u00ada\u00adtions car\u00adried out met all objec\u00adtives, and all ques\u00adtions that arose were answered imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the reports are ready, tech\u00adni\u00adcians can also view them in the app at any time. In addi\u00adtion to show\u00ading the con\u00addi\u00adtions, they also con\u00adtain clear and pri\u00ador\u00adi\u00adtized rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions for main\u00adte\u00adnance and repair of the indi\u00advid\u00adual units. If TESSA\u00ae FLEETSCAN 2D is repeat\u00aded in a few years, this will make the fore\u00adcasts and rec\u00adom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adtions even more accu\u00adrate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But why is such a detailed review of oper\u00adat\u00ading equip\u00adment so impor\u00adtant? In Duis\u00adburg, the steel\u00adworks fleet con\u00adsists of a total of 68 medi\u00adum-volt\u00adage and high-volt\u00adage trans\u00adform\u00aders that sup\u00adply the plant and espe\u00adcial\u00adly the smelter with ener\u00adgy. Some of these trans\u00adform\u00aders are already at an advanced age.
