Through our sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty report and our com\u00admit\u00adment to the SDG, we dis\u00adclose how we are bring\u00ading this trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion to life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This starts at the core of our com\u00adpa\u00adny and runs through all areas\u2014from a sus\u00adtain\u00adable cor\u00adpo\u00adrate cul\u00adture that places a greater focus on employ\u00adees and their ideas, to the con\u00adscious use of resources in our pro\u00adduc\u00adtion, to our local respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty at the numer\u00adous MR loca\u00adtions. We have there\u00adfore iden\u00adti\u00adfied eight SDG to which we as a com\u00adpa\u00adny are already mak\u00ading an active con\u00adtri\u00adbu\u00adtion and that we are plan\u00adning to extend, and con\u00adcrete mea\u00adsures are already being imple\u00adment\u00aded for four of these goals. What helps us: pro\u00adduc\u00ading clean\u00adtech for the ener\u00adgy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion is part of our DNA.\u2002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Ger\u00adman proverb says: \u201cHe who rests, rusts\u201d, and this is sym\u00adbol\u00adic of our busi\u00adness approach. This is why we are con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous\u00adly devel\u00adop\u00ading our range of appli\u00adca\u00adtions for nat\u00adur\u00adal esters\u2009\u2014\u2009made from renew\u00adable raw mate\u00adri\u00adals instead of min\u00ader\u00adal oils\u2009\u2014\u2009and for alter\u00adna\u00adtive gas\u00ades. Inci\u00adden\u00adtal\u00adly, the cli\u00admate-dam\u00adag\u00ading insu\u00adlat\u00ading gas SF6 has nev\u00ader been used at MR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our prod\u00aduct design also ensures that our com\u00adpo\u00adnents can be eas\u00adi\u00adly dis\u00adman\u00adtled at the end of their life and that their raw mate\u00adri\u00adals such as sil\u00adver, cop\u00adper, steel and mag\u00adne\u00adsium can be recy\u00adcled and dis\u00adposed of local\u00adly. But no con\u00adcrete mea\u00adsures can be derived with\u00adout a strat\u00ade\u00adgy. This is why, in 2015, the Unit\u00aded Nations adopt\u00aded the 2030 Agen\u00adda which has at its core 17 Sus\u00adtain\u00adable Devel\u00adop\u00adment Goals (SDG). Com\u00adpa\u00adnies can use these goals to align their sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty course and strive for indi\u00advid\u00adual trans\u00adfor\u00adma\u00adtion. Suc\u00adcess\u00ades and fail\u00adures can also be mea\u00adsured against these SDG as more and more com\u00adpa\u00adnies are grad\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly required to pre\u00adpare sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty reports.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
