Mr. L\u00e1la, as head of the Transformers Department, you know the assets like the back of your hand. How important to you is regular maintenance of the systems and what intervals do you consider appropriate?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Equip\u00adment main\u00adte\u00adnance is cru\u00adcial for us, espe\u00adcial\u00adly to ensure the safe and reli\u00adable oper\u00ada\u00adtion of the trans\u00admis\u00adsion grid equip\u00adment. The main\u00adte\u00adnance inter\u00advals are deter\u00admined by \u010cEPS\u2019s Pre\u00adven\u00adtive Main\u00adte\u00adnance Code, which is based on the equip\u00adment man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00aders\u2019 man\u00adu\u00adals and also reflects oth\u00ader require\u00adments of \u010cEPS\u2019s spe\u00adcial\u00adists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some operators consider extending the maintenance intervals or performing the maintenance themselves. What is your philosophy on this?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There is of course a finan\u00adcial aspect to sys\u00adtem main\u00adte\u00adnance, but ensur\u00ading safe and reli\u00adable oper\u00ada\u00adtion sim\u00adply comes first. In gen\u00ader\u00adal, our main\u00adte\u00adnance strat\u00ade\u00adgy is geared towards knowl\u00adedge of the system\u2019s con\u00addi\u00adtion and thus, above all, towards sophis\u00adti\u00adcat\u00aded and high-qual\u00adi\u00adty sys\u00adtem diag\u00adnos\u00adtics. We car\u00adry out main\u00adte\u00adnance tasks with our own per\u00adson\u00adnel, but here too we con\u00adcen\u00adtrate on demand\u00ading and high\u00adly spe\u00adcial\u00adized activ\u00adi\u00adties. In the area of pow\u00ader trans\u00adform\u00aders, we have our own main\u00adte\u00adnance group, which car\u00adries out around 50 per\u00adcent of main\u00adte\u00adnance of this type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How\u00adev\u00ader, work\u00ading direct\u00adly with MR now ensures the best pos\u00adsi\u00adble ser\u00advice qual\u00adi\u00adty for these sys\u00adtems and the avail\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty of orig\u00adi\u00adnal spare parts.
