Ocean waves hold enor\u00admous amounts of ener\u00adgy. Accord\u00ading to esti\u00admates by the Inter\u00adgov\u00adern\u00admen\u00adtal Pan\u00adel on Cli\u00admate Change (IPCC), wave pow\u00ader plants could pro\u00adduce 29,500 TWh of elec\u00adtric\u00adi\u00adty world\u00adwide every year. That is almost ten times Europe\u2019s con\u00adsump\u00adtion. So far, how\u00adev\u00ader, there has been no eco\u00adnom\u00adic solu\u00adtion to exploit this poten\u00adtial.
