What transformer accessories does BTRAC offer? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We have a wide range of porce\u00adlain and sil\u00adi\u00adcone bush\u00adings for both indoor and out\u00addoor use, which are used in low and medi\u00adum volt\u00adage appli\u00adca\u00adtions. This includes bush\u00adings that com\u00adply with British stan\u00addard norms and have been spe\u00adcial\u00adly devel\u00adoped for the UK mar\u00adket and oth\u00ader coun\u00adtries that oper\u00adate in line with these stan\u00addards. There are also oth\u00ader acces\u00adsories, such as cable box\u00ades or epoxy resin mono-blocks. How\u00adev\u00ader, cus\u00adtomer-spe\u00adcif\u00adic solu\u00adtions and cus\u00adtom-made prod\u00aducts are also impor\u00adtant areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are these solutions?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, we adapt exist\u00ading prod\u00aducts to spe\u00adcif\u00adic cus\u00adtomer require\u00adments. For exam\u00adple, we can mod\u00adi\u00adfy CEDASPE\u2019s SBC bush\u00adings by chang\u00ading the rod design or attach\u00ading dif\u00adfer\u00adent ter\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion arrange\u00adments. But we also devel\u00adop com\u00adplete\u00adly new bush\u00ading designs. And we can reverse engi\u00adneer acces\u00adsories that are no longer man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtured. We have the appro\u00adpri\u00adate soft\u00adware and a CNC machine that allows us to solve cus\u00adtomer-spe\u00adcif\u00adic prob\u00adlems with flex\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty and with\u00adout long lead times. This means that retro\u00adfits are also pos\u00adsi\u00adble where no stan\u00addard prod\u00aducts are available\u2013giving trans\u00adform\u00aders a longer life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have an example?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A porce\u00adlain bush\u00ading broke at a customer\u2019s premis\u00ades and was par\u00adtial\u00adly destroyed. How\u00adev\u00ader, it could no longer be replaced because the man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00ader no longer exist\u00aded, and design draw\u00adings were also not avail\u00adable. To change design would have meant a com\u00adplete redesign of the sub\u00adsta\u00adtion at a huge cost to the cus\u00adtomer. We car\u00adried out mea\u00adsure\u00adments, cre\u00adat\u00aded new draw\u00adings and recon\u00adstruct\u00aded the bush\u00ading. This gave the cus\u00adtomer a new orig\u00adi\u00adnal part that can be rein\u00adstalled to last for many years. With our BTRAC com\u00adpa\u00adny founder Dave Fish\u00adman, we have an expert on board who takes care of such com\u00adpli\u00adcat\u00aded cas\u00ades. Few peo\u00adple in the world know as much about bush\u00adings as he does. This know-how is unique, and we nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly make it avail\u00adable to the entire Rein\u00adhausen Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have most of the goods in stock and can there\u00adfore guar\u00adan\u00adtee short deliv\u00adery times. The advan\u00adtage for cus\u00adtomers: They get every\u00adthing from a sin\u00adgle source. We are also cer\u00adti\u00adfied as a Pre\u00admi\u00adum Ser\u00advice Provider by MR. Our four ser\u00advice tech\u00adni\u00adcians car\u00adry out main\u00adte\u00adnance of on-load tap-chang\u00aders, and also take care of oth\u00ader trans\u00adformer-relat\u00aded ser\u00advices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who are your customers? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

These are trans\u00adformer man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00aders, ener\u00adgy sup\u00adpli\u00aders and ser\u00advice com\u00adpa\u00adnies in the UK and Ire\u00adland. Cus\u00adtomers who oper\u00adate solar and wind farms are also play\u00ading an increas\u00ading\u00adly impor\u00adtant role. There are also trans\u00adformer man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00aders from the Mid\u00addle East who, for his\u00adtor\u00adi\u00adcal rea\u00adsons, fol\u00adlow British stan\u00addards. So, we have a very large cus\u00adtomer base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How is the market developing? <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As in the rest of Europe, we are deal\u00ading with a rapid\u00adly grow\u00ading mar\u00adket. The UK gov\u00adern\u00adment wants to dras\u00adti\u00adcal\u00adly reduce CO2 emis\u00adsions and is there\u00adfore invest\u00ading large sums in the expan\u00adsion of the grids. The demand for trans\u00adform\u00aders is enor\u00admous and the impor\u00adtance of retro\u00adfitting exist\u00ading equip\u00adment will con\u00adtin\u00adue to increase in the future, as deliv\u00adery times are long, and fleets are aging. Our prod\u00aducts and solu\u00adtions will there\u00adfore be in high demand in the com\u00ading years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BTRAC at a Glance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

BTRAC was found\u00aded in 2009 by Dave Fish\u00adman (right) as a sis\u00adter com\u00adpa\u00adny of CEDASPE, now also a mem\u00adber of the Rein\u00adhausen Group. The com\u00adpa\u00adny is based in Telford, which is con\u00adve\u00adnient\u00adly locat\u00aded near Birm\u00ading\u00adham. Just last year, the com\u00adpa\u00adny moved into a new, more mod\u00adern build\u00ading and now employs 18 peo\u00adple. Craig Car\u00adring\u00adton (left) start\u00aded his pro\u00adfes\u00adsion\u00adal career at the age of 16, stud\u00adied elec\u00adtri\u00adcal engi\u00adneer\u00ading and worked for many years at trans\u00adformer man\u00adu\u00adfac\u00adtur\u00aders before join\u00ading BTRAC in 2016, where he built up the ser\u00advice busi\u00adness.
