We are work\u00ading to reduce the car\u00adbon foot\u00adprint across the entire life\u00adcy\u00adcle when devel\u00adop\u00ading new prod\u00aducts. To help our cus\u00adtomers bet\u00adter assess the envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal impact of their sys\u00adtems, we pro\u00advide Envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal Prod\u00aduct Dec\u00adla\u00adra\u00adtions (EPDs). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addi\u00adtion, we are pub\u00adlish\u00ading our first group-wide sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty report this year. This allows us to make our progress mea\u00adsur\u00adable, and clear\u00adly demon\u00adstrate where we have already made progress and where fur\u00adther action is need\u00aded. In this way, we ensure max\u00adi\u00admum trans\u00adparen\u00adcy regard\u00ading our ongo\u00ading mea\u00adsures \u2014 not only for our cus\u00adtomers, but for all oth\u00ader stake\u00adhold\u00aders as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1978, Rein\u00adhausen launched the OILTAP\u00ae<\/sup> V, a tap chang\u00ader that was very com\u00adpact for its time. A nov\u00adel\u00adty at the time: Both the oil hous\u00ading and the dri\u00adve shaft were made of glass-fiber-rein\u00adforced com\u00adpos\u00adites, which, thanks to their high dura\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty and long ser\u00advice life, con\u00adtribute to reli\u00adable oper\u00ada\u00adtion for decades.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Around the turn of the mil\u00adlen\u00adni\u00adum, Rein\u00adhausen intro\u00adduced vac\u00adu\u00adum tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy to tap chang\u00aders. Thanks to this tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy, the oil is no longer con\u00adt\u00ada\u00adm\u00adi\u00adnat\u00aded, and for the first time, it is pos\u00adsi\u00adble to oper\u00adate the tap chang\u00ader with vir\u00adtu\u00adal\u00adly no main\u00adte\u00adnance. This reduces the need for ser\u00advice calls and low\u00aders the car\u00adbon foot\u00adprint by elim\u00adi\u00adnat\u00ading the need for oil treat\u00adment. With the VACUTAP\u00ae<\/sup> VI, Rein\u00adhausen engi\u00adneers have tak\u00aden the on-load tap-chang\u00ader to a whole new lev\u00adel of sus\u00adtain\u00adabil\u00adi\u00adty. This tap chang\u00ader shares the oil sup\u00adply with the trans\u00adformer and is con\u00adtrolled via a direct dri\u00adve. This elim\u00adi\u00adnates the need for addi\u00adtion\u00adal com\u00adpo\u00adnents and saves mate\u00adr\u00adi\u00adal, reduces oil and space require\u00adments, and allows trans\u00adform\u00aders to deliv\u00ader more pow\u00ader while main\u00adtain\u00ading the same size. Thanks to its clever design, instal\u00adla\u00adtion is also sim\u00adple and resource effi\u00adcient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
