The new ser\u00advice truck even has reserve load\u00ading space for motor-dri\u00adve units, bush\u00adings, oil fil\u00adter units, or MESSKO\u00ae prod\u00aducts should these need to be retro\u00adfit\u00adted or replaced dur\u00ading main\u00adte\u00adnance. Anoth\u00ader high\u00adlight is a crane for lift\u00ading out the tap-chang\u00ader inserts.<\/p>\n

A ser\u00advice deploy\u00adment can last up to two weeks at a time if the two-per\u00adson ser\u00advice team car\u00adries out up to ten tap chang\u00ader ser\u00advice jobs on a sin\u00adgle tour. \u201cThe ser\u00advice we offer with our new truck is a tru\u00adly all-inclu\u00adsive pack\u00adage. In addi\u00adtion to the advan\u00adtage of low\u00ader costs, our cus\u00adtomers can also reduce the has\u00adsle of main\u00adte\u00adnance,\u201d explains ser\u00advice engi\u00adneer Chris\u00adt\u00adian Schaider, who spear\u00adhead\u00aded the devel\u00adop\u00adment of the truck in coop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtion with the head of ser\u00advice tech\u00adni\u00adcians, Markus Rap\u00adpl. The replace\u00adment parts need\u00aded for main\u00adte\u00adnance which couldn\u2019t fit into the vehi\u00adcle were there\u00adfore deliv\u00adered direct\u00adly to the customer\u2019s cen\u00adtral ware\u00adhouse. The cus\u00adtomer would then have to make sure that the parts, along with the crane, the replace\u00adment oil, and any aux\u00adil\u00adiary per\u00adson\u00adnel, were avail\u00adable at the rel\u00ade\u00advant pri\u00adma\u00adry sub\u00adsta\u00adtion site on the sched\u00aduled ser\u00advic\u00ading date. \u201cBut today we can relieve cus\u00adtomers of this respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty and offer a much more con\u00adve\u00adnient ser\u00advice because, after we receive an order, all we need to do is agree on the date for the ser\u00advic\u00ading. All the spare parts and equip\u00adment need\u00aded for main\u00adte\u00adnance are brought along with us in our ser\u00advice truck,\u201d adds Mr. Schaider.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe even cre\u00adate the quo\u00adta\u00adtions our\u00adselves for these jobs, with\u00adout the cus\u00adtomer hav\u00ading to go through the effort, and with\u00adout us need\u00ading to be on site before\u00adhand. Only three pieces of infor\u00adma\u00adtion are required \u2013 the ser\u00adi\u00adal num\u00adber, the cur\u00adrent num\u00adber of tap-change oper\u00ada\u00adtions reg\u00adis\u00adtered by the oper\u00ada\u00adtions counter, and the site of the trans\u00adformer in which the tap chang\u00ader that requires ser\u00advic\u00ading is inte\u00adgrat\u00aded. Because we record all data in our sys\u00adtem from the point of deliv\u00adery of the tap chang\u00ader onwards, our ser\u00advice engi\u00adneers are famil\u00adiar with the entire \u201alife his\u00adto\u00adry\u2019 of the prod\u00aduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

For instance, in order to make the most out of the space avail\u00adable, the sleep\u00ading area of the driver\u2019s cab was con\u00advert\u00aded to stowage space for the toolk\u00adits. The vehi\u00adcle even includes a water tank with a soap dis\u00adpenser.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div><\/span><\/a>

2,000 kilo\u00adgrams of insu\u00adlat\u00ading oil can be loaded into the truck. This is enough to change the oil in about ten stan\u00addard tap chang\u00aders. In order to meet strict envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal stan\u00addards, the oil drums are housed in spe\u00adcial, trans\u00adport-friend\u00adly con\u00adtain\u00aders.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div><\/span><\/a>

The 15-meter ground\u00ading cable there\u00adfore trans\u00adfers the cur\u00adrent from the crane to the bus\u00adbar, which is also used to ground the trans\u00adformer.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t <\/div><\/span><\/a>

The grip\u00adper in the mid\u00addle can be used by the ser\u00advice tech\u00adni\u00adcian to clean the oil com\u00adpart\u00adment in which the on-load tap-chang\u00ader insert is fit\u00adted. GREATER CONVENIENCE FOR CUSTOMERS<\/h2>\n

The spe\u00adcial\u00adists from Regens\u00adburg, under the lead\u00ader\u00adship of Chris\u00adt\u00adian Schaider and Markus Rap\u00adpl, have been work\u00ading on the truck for two years. The devel\u00adop\u00adment team ini\u00adtial\u00adly con\u00adsid\u00adered a trail\u00ader-based con\u00adcept with a car as the tow\u00ading vehi\u00adcle. \u201cIt quick\u00adly became clear, how\u00adev\u00ader, that this con\u00adcept would have been too lim\u00adit\u00aded in terms of load\u00ading and crane struc\u00adture. And when we added an inte\u00adgrat\u00aded work\u00adshop to our wish list, we scrapped the idea in favor of a truck-based con\u00adcept,\u201d Mr. Schaider recalls.<\/p>\n

The plan\u00adning for the struc\u00adture, the crane and the inte\u00adri\u00ador fit\u00adtings, tak\u00ading into account all require\u00adments, such as the manda\u00adto\u00adry trip recorder, load restraints, or the fas\u00adten\u00ading of oper\u00adat\u00ading mate\u00adri\u00adals, was car\u00adried out inde\u00adpen\u00addent\u00adly by the Rein\u00adhausen ser\u00advice engi\u00adneers. For the tow\u00ading vehi\u00adcle, they decid\u00aded on a 250-horse\u00adpow\u00ader stan\u00addard design from MAN. The con\u00adver\u00adsions required for the crane struc\u00adture and the trail\u00ader were out\u00adsourced to a spe\u00adcial\u00adist in Regens\u00adburg.<\/p>\n

FULL SERVICE WITH 250 HP<\/h2>\n

When cus\u00adtomers today decide to order the full ser\u00advice from MR, they need only open the pri\u00adma\u00adry sub\u00adsta\u00adtion and free up the trans\u00adformer on the agreed date. Because the truck is loaded specif\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly for each indi\u00advid\u00adual job, main\u00adte\u00adnance work can be com\u00adbined cost-effi\u00adcient\u00adly with repairs, for exam\u00adple replace\u00adment of bush\u00adings with retro\u00adfitting of dis\u00adplay instru\u00adments from Reinhausen\u2019s sub\u00adsidiary MESSKO\u00ae, with a TAPSCAN\u00ae VAM vibroa\u00adcoustic mea\u00adsure\u00adment, or with a dynam\u00adic TAPSCAN\u00ae DRM resis\u00adtance mea\u00adsure\u00adment. The ser\u00advice truck now car\u00adries out ser\u00advice jobs through\u00adout Ger\u00admany and Aus\u00adtria. \u201cIt won\u2019t always stay like this though,\u201d adds Mr. Schaider, \u201cwe are work\u00ading every day to improve and expand our ser\u00advice around the world so that we can offer the full-ser\u00advice pack\u00adage every\u00adwhere.\u201d<\/p>\n
