These val\u00adues pro\u00advide infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the for\u00adma\u00adtion of gas\u00ades in oil or the max\u00adi\u00admum heat which may be applied to the wind\u00adings, for exam\u00adple.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201dThe grad\u00adual dig\u00adi\u00adtal\u00adiza\u00adtion of our trans\u00adform\u00aders means that we receive a lot more infor\u00adma\u00adtion \u2014 and in real time to boot!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For this tra\u00addi\u00adtion\u00adal main\u00adte\u00adnance method, we are cur\u00adrent\u00adly work\u00ading with pre\u00addom\u00adi\u00adnant\u00adly time-based or pre\u00adven\u00adta\u00adtive main\u00adte\u00adnance \u2013 just like a per\u00adson going to the doc\u00adtor reg\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly. We are there\u00adfore able to eval\u00adu\u00adate the sta\u00adtus of our sys\u00adtems sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant\u00adly more quick\u00adly, more effi\u00adcient\u00adly, and above all more con\u00adsis\u00adtent\u00adly than before. A con\u00adcrete exam\u00adple of this is seen in our two newest trans\u00adform\u00aders which will help us to make our grid more reli\u00adable. We can also mon\u00adi\u00adtor the for\u00adma\u00adtion of hydro\u00adgen, car\u00adbon monox\u00adide, and humid\u00adi\u00adty with\u00adout fal\u00adsi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion and thus con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly deter\u00admine the qual\u00adi\u00adty of the oil. Fur\u00adther\u00admore, we receive infor\u00adma\u00adtion via the on-load tap-chang\u00ader about the cur\u00adrent load, volt\u00adage, amper\u00adage, and the posi\u00adtion of the tap-chang\u00ader. Thanks to the bush\u00ading mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading MSense BM, we are also able to con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly mon\u00adi\u00adtor the trans\u00adformer bush\u00adings online for the first time.<\/p>\n<h3>How do you benefit from monitoring the transformers in real time?<\/h3>\n<p>The smart trans\u00adform\u00aders sim\u00adpli\u00adfy our work con\u00adsid\u00ader\u00adably and help us to cut costs. Since we receive all infor\u00adma\u00adtion in our con\u00adtrol cen\u00adters around the clock and in real time, we are able to react much more quick\u00adly and with more pre\u00adci\u00adsion to pos\u00adsi\u00adble prob\u00adlems. This takes us from pre\u00adven\u00adta\u00adtive main\u00adte\u00adnance to con\u00addi\u00adtion-based main\u00adte\u00adnance, which means that we act exact\u00adly when required \u2013 nei\u00adther too ear\u00adly nor too late. Apart from this, we now no longer need to trav\u00adel to the trans\u00adform\u00aders to get infor\u00adma\u00adtion. Instead, we can access them direct\u00adly from the con\u00adtrol cen\u00adter. Few\u00ader ser\u00advice calls and the ear\u00adly detec\u00adtion of prob\u00adlems enable us to sig\u00adnif\u00adi\u00adcant\u00adly reduce our costs over the ser\u00advice life of the trans\u00adformer. This demon\u00adstrates that our invest\u00adments in new tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy are def\u00adi\u00adnite\u00adly pay\u00ading off.<\/p>\n<h3>Which features do you think are the most beneficial?<\/h3>\n<p>I would like to point out two things here: The oil-analy\u00adsis sys\u00adtem and the bush\u00ading mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading. Using the oil analy\u00adsis, we can con\u00adve\u00adnient\u00adly mon\u00adi\u00adtor the oil qual\u00adi\u00adty and detect poten\u00adtial prob\u00adlems ear\u00adly on. We are there\u00adfore able to min\u00adi\u00admize the risk of one of our trans\u00adform\u00aders becom\u00ading inop\u00ader\u00ada\u00adtive. And the bush\u00ading mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading from Rein\u00adhausen cer\u00adtain\u00adly rep\u00adre\u00adsents our great\u00adest break\u00adthrough. Pre\u00advi\u00adous\u00adly, we weren\u2019t able to mon\u00adi\u00adtor this impor\u00adtant part of the trans\u00adformer at all. Now we receive infor\u00adma\u00adtion in real time about the aging of the bush\u00adings, the humid\u00adi\u00adty, and their gen\u00ader\u00adal \u201cstate of health\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3>You are a pilot customer of Reinhausen for the bushing monitoring. Did you need to spend a long time considering this offer?<\/h3>\n<p>Not at all \u2013 since we have been suc\u00adcess\u00adful\u00adly col\u00adlab\u00ado\u00adrat\u00ading with Rein\u00adhausen for decades. Almost all of our trans\u00adform\u00aders have an on-load tap-chang\u00ader from this com\u00adpa\u00adny. The old\u00adest dates back to the year 1974 and still works per\u00adfect\u00adly. We there\u00adfore had no doubt that Rein\u00adhausen would pro\u00advide a high-qual\u00adi\u00adty and tech\u00adni\u00adcal\u00adly sophis\u00adti\u00adcat\u00aded sys\u00adtem which would be of real ben\u00ade\u00adfit for us. This is the advan\u00adtage of such a long part\u00adner\u00adship: That you know exact\u00adly what you\u2019re get\u00adting and that you can rely on the oth\u00ader par\u00adty.<\/p>\n<h3>What are your plans for the future of your transformer fleet?<\/h3>\n<p>A total of 23 trans\u00adform\u00aders are work\u00ading in our grid. Just under half of these are between 31 and 50 years old. As a result of the increas\u00ading ener\u00adgy demand, we will soon be unable to meet the required redun\u00addan\u00adcy cri\u00adte\u00adria with some of our sub\u00adsta\u00adtions. We will there\u00adfore grad\u00adu\u00adal\u00adly replace these old\u00ader trans\u00adform\u00aders with new\u00ader ones which will pre\u00adpare us for future load require\u00adments as well as advance the dig\u00adi\u00adtal\u00adiza\u00adtion of our fleet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201dWe now no longer need to trav\u00adel to the trans\u00adform\u00aders; we can access them direct\u00adly from the con\u00adtrol cen\u00adter instead.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This will cre\u00adate many addi\u00adtion\u00adal options for improved main\u00adte\u00adnance and reli\u00ada\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty as well as reduce costs across the over\u00adall ser\u00advice life of the sys\u00adtems \u2013 I think this is very clear\u00adly the way for\u00adward.
