Var\u00adi\u00adous shield\u00ading options are avail\u00adable to suit whichev\u00ader group of para\u00adme\u00adters is present in an appli\u00adca\u00adtion. Pre\u00advi\u00adous\u00adly, Rein\u00adhausen Pow\u00ader Com\u00adpos\u00adites used liq\u00aduid sil\u00adi\u00adcone rub\u00adber (LSR) shield\u00ading tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy at the Regens\u00adburg site.<\/p>\n<p>In mid-2017, how\u00adev\u00ader, an acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion in France intro\u00adduced a new method: the high-tem\u00adper\u00ada\u00adture vul\u00adcan\u00adiz\u00ading (HTV) extru\u00adsion process. <span style=\"background: #FCF03C\">As a result, Rein\u00adhausen Pow\u00ader Com\u00adpos\u00adites, as a full-range sup\u00adpli\u00ader and reli\u00adable part\u00adner, offers its cus\u00adtomers solu\u00adtions for any require\u00adment, with each made to sat\u00adis\u00adfy the very high\u00adest stan\u00addards of qual\u00adi\u00adty and safe\u00adty.<\/span> Here, we show\u00adcase both tech\u00adnolo\u00adgies and high\u00adlight the appli\u00adca\u00adtions for which they are par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly suit\u00adable.<\/p>\n\n<h2>INJECTION MOLDING FOR LARGE-SERIES PRODUCTION<\/h2>\n<p>LSR injec\u00adtion tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy is an injec\u00adtion mold\u00ading tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy. It involves first clamp\u00ading the pre\u00adcur\u00adsor prod\u00aduct, made from glass rein\u00adforced plas\u00adtic (GRP) pip\u00ading and an alu\u00adminum fit\u00adting, in a device. Fol\u00adlow\u00ading this, two mold halves encase the assem\u00adbly and the machine then press\u00ades liq\u00aduid sil\u00adi\u00adcone into the mold under high lev\u00adels of tem\u00adper\u00ada\u00adture and pres\u00adsure. Once the sil\u00adi\u00adcone shield\u00ading has been cross-linked, the mold is opened and the insu\u00adla\u00adtor can be removed. After that, the next shield\u00ading can be mold\u00aded.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3206\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3206\" style=\"width: 678px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3206 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onload.reinhausen.com\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2018\/06\/LSR-Injektionstechnologie.jpg\" alt width=\"678\" height=\"400\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3206\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">In LSR injec\u00adtion tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy, the sil\u00adi\u00adcone is pressed into molds.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The mold halves con\u00adsist of a large num\u00adber of mold plates. The length of the shield\u00ading can be adjust\u00aded by chang\u00ading the num\u00adbers that are used. <span style=\"background: #FCF03C\">The LSR injec\u00adtion method is ide\u00adal for high\u00adly stan\u00addard\u00adized insul ators that are pro\u00adduced at high vol\u00adumes.<\/span> This means that, in larg\u00ader-series pro\u00adduc\u00adtion in par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar, there are <span style=\"background: #FCF03C\">cost advan\u00adtages<\/span> to be gained from it. Because it is rel\u00ada\u00adtive\u00adly expen\u00adsive to pur\u00adchase an indi\u00advid\u00adual mold, the method is less suit\u00adable for small\u00ader batch sizes.<\/p>\n<h2>EXTRUSION FOR CUSTOM REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<p>In the HTV extru\u00adsion process, an extrud\u00ader applies sil\u00adi\u00adcone, which has the con\u00adsis\u00adten\u00adcy of plas\u00adticine, to the pre\u00adcur\u00adsor prod\u00aduct. The pre\u00adcur\u00adsor prod\u00aduct then moves about its own axis as well as in the direc\u00adtion of the lon\u00adgi\u00adtu\u00addi\u00adnal axis, cre\u00adat\u00ading spi\u00adral-shaped shield\u00ading on the GRP pipe.
