Rein\u00adhausen went to great lengths to make sure that is not the case, com\u00admis\u00adsion\u00ading renowned test\u00ading and cer\u00adti\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion insti\u00adtute VDE to exam\u00adine its ETOS\u00ae trans\u00adformer con\u00adtrol.

\nThe insti\u00adtute con\u00adduct\u00aded sev\u00ader\u00adal series of tests to check the elec\u00adtro\u00admag\u00adnet\u00adic com\u00adpat\u00adi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty (EMC) of the sys\u00adtem in a per\u00adfect\u00adly shield\u00aded ane\u00adchoic cham\u00adber. The require\u00adments stip\u00adu\u00adlate that the sys\u00adtem must not inter\u00adfere with oth\u00ader elec\u00adtri\u00adcal devices and must not be too sen\u00adsi\u00adtive in its own response to exter\u00adnal sig\u00adnals.<\/p>\n

This helps ensure that the sys\u00adtem remains sta\u00adble and can be oper\u00adat\u00aded reli\u00adably. The IEC 61000\u20136\u20115 stan\u00addard, which sets out extreme\u00adly strin\u00adgent require\u00adments as far as EMC is con\u00adcerned, applies to pri\u00adma\u00adry sub\u00adsta\u00adtions. ETOS\u00ae from Rein\u00adhausen passed all of the tests it need\u00aded to pass.<\/p>\n
