DIALYSIS FOR TRANSFORMERS<\/h5>\n

One of the most impor\u00adtant pieces of equip\u00adment for ser\u00advice work is the oil rig. For elab\u00ado\u00adrate trans\u00adformer work, all the oil \u2014 rang\u00ading from a few hun\u00addred to thou\u00adsands of gal\u00adlons \u2014 has to be drained and tem\u00adporar\u00adi\u00adly stored. Dur\u00ading the work, how\u00adev\u00ader, mois\u00adture ingress may occur, which is detri\u00admen\u00adtal to the trans\u00adformer.<\/p>\n

The oil rig plays a key role here: Using the pumps installed in the oil rig (1) , the oil is first pumped out into a ster\u00adile con\u00adtain\u00adment and, after the work is com\u00adplet\u00aded, it is pumped back into the trans\u00adformer. Before refill\u00ading, the vac\u00adu\u00adum and boost\u00ader pumps (2) apply a fine vac\u00adu\u00adum to the entire tank (<1 mbar), which removes a major\u00adi\u00adty of the mois\u00adture and also pre\u00advents the for\u00adma\u00adtion of air bub\u00adbles dur\u00ading fill\u00ading.<\/p>\n

Once the oil is com\u00adplete\u00adly filled back in the trans\u00adformer, the oil rig remains in oper\u00ada\u00adtion and cir\u00adcu\u00adlates the oil. In this process, with the oil con\u00adstant\u00adly heat\u00aded to approx. 50\u00b0 C (oil heat\u00ading 3 ), is where mois\u00adture extrac\u00adtion (inlet\/outlet fil\u00adtra\u00adtion 4 & 5) and degasi\u00adfi\u00adca\u00adtion (degassing cham\u00adber 6 ) occur. The water tak\u00aden out of the sys\u00adtem is col\u00adlect\u00aded and con\u00adtin\u00adu\u00adous\u00adly mea\u00adsured through dig\u00adi\u00adtal mois\u00adture mon\u00adi\u00adtor\u00ading. Depend\u00ading on how much mois\u00adture is in the sys\u00adtem, this process can take from one day to sev\u00ader\u00adal weeks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
