Thank you for taking the time for our customer magazine ONLOAD. One main focus of this edition will be on our service portfolio relating to regulating transformers. Over the last few years, we have developed from a supplier of high-quality components to a comprehensive partner over the entire transformer life. As a result, our customers can benefit from our advice and diagnostics, as well as technical support and modernization. A brand new service we are offering is a diagnostics procedure for fleet management, which we have developed in close association with a German energy supplier and a university.

A topic widely discussed throughout the industry is the digitalization of equipment. One of the key benefits often cited is its ability to decrease costs while also increasing availability. Read about how the Icelandic grid operator Veitur worked with us to take the first steps toward „smart“ transformers, and what plans it has for the future. Also in this issue: A power quality solution for connecting a wind farm to the grid as well as the new, automated production process at our Italian subsidiary C.A.P.T., where tap changers for distribution transformers are made.
