Reinhausen forms strategic energy partnerships in southeast asia

Indonesia plans to expand its energy capacity by 69.5 gigawatts by 2034, with around 60 percent coming from renewable sources. With the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP), the country is pursuing an ambitious course to decarbonize its energy sector. The initiative, which was launched in 2022 as part of the G20 summit, brings together international support, including from Germany, to achieve these goals. In September, the Indonesia-Europe Business Forum (IEBF) 2025 was held in Berlin. Within this framework, Reinhausen signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the state-owned energy supplier PT PLN. The agreement marks the beginning of deeper cooperation in the following areas:

  • Transformer control
  • Qualification of tap changer equipment
  • Grid modernization and asset management
  • Integration of renewable energies

For Reinhausen, the agreement represents a strategic milestone toward sustainable energy partnerships in Southeast Asia.
