A NEW, POWERFUL BRAND
Reinhausen has acquired 100 percent of the shares in Hans von Mangoldt GmbH & Co. KG. The company has around 120 employees and develops and manufactures iron-core and air-core chokes for reactive power compensation and drive technology, among other applications, at sites in Aachen and Großrudestedt (near Erfurt) in Germany, as well as in India and Taiwan.
Michael Rohde, Managing Director of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH, explains: “The strong Hans von Mangoldt brand is facilitating the Reinhausen Group’s first direct involvement in the market for inductive components, which are becoming increasingly important in many electronic applications. We have been using the chokes manufactured by Mangoldt as high-quality and reliable components in our application-focused solutions business for many years.“
