ETOS® on Tour

In Octo­ber, the ETOS® Road­show was rolled out for the first time in Europe. With a ful­ly func­tion­ing demo mod­el of the automa­tion solu­tion, MR experts vis­it­ed ener­gy sup­pli­ers and trans­former man­u­fac­tur­ers in Croa­t­ia, Slove­nia, Aus­tria, Italy, the Nether­lands, and Ger­many. The teams had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to clar­i­fy a whole host of user ques­tions and arrange pilot appli­ca­tions.

Joint Venture for High-Performance Plastics

At the INMR inter­na­tion­al trade show in Tuc­son, Ari­zona, Maschi­nen­fab­rik Rein­hausen GmbH (MR) announced the foun­da­tion of Aditya Bir­la Pow­er Com­pos­ites Ltd. (ABPC), which is head­quar­tered in the city of Halol (Gujarat) in north-west India. ABPC is a joint ven­ture between Grasim Indus­tries (51%) and MR (49%). In a new fac­to­ry, which is due to start pro­duc­tion as ear­ly as the sec­ond half of 2020, com­pos­ite hol­low insu­la­tors for use in pri­ma­ry sub­sta­tions with up to 400 kV will be man­u­fac­tured using a spe­cial injec­tion method.
