Whether indi­ca­tors, mon­i­tor­ing devices, bush­ings or dehy­drat­ing breathers – MR’s range of acces­sories is avail­able for both dis­tri­b­u­tion and pow­er trans­form­ers. Always opti­mal­ly adapt­ed to the respec­tive appli­ca­tion.

Protective Devices

No trans­former can oper­ate with­out pro­tec­tive devices. MR’s Buch­holz relays, safe­ty valves, pres­sure relief devices and sup­ple­men­tary pro­tec­tive devices are con­vinc­ing in terms of qual­i­ty and per­for­mance.

Fittings and Breathers

In addi­tion to acces­sories such as but­ter­fly valves or var­i­ous ter­mi­nal box­es, MR offers a wide port­fo­lio of con­ven­tion­al or main­te­nance-free dehy­drat­ing breathers for reli­able trans­former oper­a­tion.

The MESSKO® MTRAB® for exam­ple, con­tin­u­ous­ly dehu­mid­i­fies and mon­i­tors the breath­ing cycle of pow­er trans­form­ers — and it is com­plete­ly main­te­nance-free. A world first: in the lat­est gen­er­a­tion, the mea­sure­ment data can be read out con­ve­nient­ly via an app, enabling the user to quick­ly ana­lyze the con­di­tion on site, includ­ing rec­om­men­da­tions for action..

Instruments and monitoring devices

With ther­mome­ters, oil lev­el and flow indi­ca­tors, as well as oth­er acces­sories, MR offers a wide range of ana­log and dig­i­tal mon­i­tor­ing devices for every type of trans­former. The MOD­BUS-enabled deriv­a­tives, such as MESSKO® COMPACT ther­mome­ters and MESSKO® MTO oil lev­el indi­ca­tors, can be direct­ly dig­i­tal­ly con­nect­ed to high­er-lev­el sys­tems.

Bushings

MR’s bush­ings fit a wide vari­ety of appli­ca­tions for volt­ages up to 52 kV. Mod­ern sil­i­cone bush­ings offer 1‑to‑1 inter­change­abil­i­ty with max­i­mum reli­a­bil­i­ty and secu­ri­ty.

Sensors

MR’s intel­li­gent sen­sors ensure unin­ter­rupt­ed and effi­cient oper­a­tion. They process phys­i­cal and chem­i­cal mea­sured vari­ables, trans­mit col­lect­ed data and issue rec­om­men­da­tions for action.

The digital heart

In the ETOS® con­trol cab­i­net, all data col­lect­ed at the trans­former flow togeth­er and are eval­u­at­ed and assessed by algo­rithms devel­oped by Rein­hausen. Mod­u­lar func­tion pack­ages are avail­able to meet var­i­ous mon­i­tor­ing require­ments. The open stan­dard makes the automa­tion solu­tion suit­able for trans­form­ers from all man­u­fac­tur­ers.
